A global food and beverage leader in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Engineer to enhance operations within factory plants. The role requires at least a diploma in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in a related environment. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and hygiene, implementing maintenance strategies, and minimizing downtime in electrical assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food processing and electrical systems, along with compliance knowledge.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for timely M&I of Electricity and Automation (E&A), including instruments, PLCs, and HMIs, ensuring the safe and smooth operation of all factory plants. Focus on reducing related shutdowns, enhancing product quality, and optimizing plant performance, while prioritizing people health and safety, product safety, and environmental standards.
SHE: Maintain work permits for all supervised employees. Implement machine improvements to address safety gaps identified through machinery safety assessments and red tags.
Quality: Follow maintenance hygiene practices during preventive maintenance, line interventions, and contractors' activities. Ensure proper line release procedures post-interventions. Participate in NEHD assessments and lead action plan gap closures.
Compliance: Ensure process and equipment safety for personnel, products, and the environment. Promote an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Manage changes appropriately to maintain engineering compliance.
Manage existing assets: Support and participate in maintenance methodologies like PM pillar and foundations as part of MWG. Assist production in eliminating quality defects, safety risks, and technical issues. Adhere to applicable standards within your responsibility area.
Maintenance and Improvement of Electrical assets: Implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability and security of electrical infrastructure. Ensure proper backup procedures. Conduct electrical maintenance according to Nestlé Maintenance Strategy, aiming for proactive asset management and reduced downtime.
Quality: Follow hygiene practices during maintenance activities and ensure proper procedures are followed post-interventions. Participate in NEHD assessments and lead action plan closures.
NCE: Support TPM implementation in your plant/line, adhering to MWG plans, and take ownership of your development plan.
