Job summary

Egis Group recherche un Chauffeur de Véhicule Léger à Abu Dhabi pour assurer le transport sûr et ponctuel de passagers et de marchandises. Vous serez responsable de l'exploitation sécurisée des véhicules, de l'adhésion aux lois de circulation et de l'assurance d'un excellent service à la clientèle. Qualifications

• Connaissance approfondie des lois de circulation locales à Abu Dhabi et aux Émirats.

Responsibilities

• Transporter des passagers ou des marchandises en toute sécurité et à temps.
• Effectuer des inspections et des vérifications de base du véhicule avant et après chaque voyage.
• Maintenir des journaux précis des voyages, du kilométrage et des incidents.

Job description

We are seeking a professional and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Light Vehicle Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods within the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods
• Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies
• Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip
• Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and any incidents or delays
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Report any vehicle issues accidents or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained both interior and exterior
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure safe driving

Qualifications :

• Valid drivers license for the appropriate vehicle class
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
• Defensive driving certification is preferred
• Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its road network is highly desirable
