POSITION SUMMARY

Our bartenders have the basics down but are constantly on the lookout for new trends, microlocal offerings, and guests' evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly and do what needs to be done. Bartenders will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and meet our guests' needs. They should be passionate about the guest service experience and have an eye for detail—from handling money and providing information to ensuring the quality of their drinks.

Regardless of your position, certain qualities are critical for success: creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet and moving around (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods) and will take a hands-on approach to their work (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance; reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Performing these duties well and other reasonable tasks as requested is essential for delivering excellent guest service and supporting our business every time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.
