Job description

We are currently looking for dynamic, self-motivated Recreation professionals who want to advance their careers.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities in the swimming area to prevent accidents and assist swimmers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Cautioning swimmers regarding unsafe areas
  2. Rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning and administering first aid
  3. Maintaining order in swimming areas
  4. Determining the chlorine content and pH value of water using water testing kits
  5. Conducting or officiating swimming meets and providing swimming instructions
  6. Ensuring the swimming pool is clean
  7. Ensuring sun loungers are clean, correctly positioned, and in working order
  8. Regularly checking the pool temperature to meet standards
  9. Keeping the pool deck clean and debris-free during operation
  10. Ensuring umbrellas are properly fixed and secured when not in use
  11. Providing emergency care and treatment until emergency medical services arrive
  12. Having full knowledge of the club’s facilities, timings, promotions, and prices

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experience

You should be a professional swimmer with a valid lifeguard qualification, preferably holding a diploma or university degree, with prior experience in the hotel industry. Physical fitness and the ability to work long hours outdoors are essential. Good command of English and strong interpersonal skills are advantageous.
