Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts invites applicants for the role of Lifeguard at their resort in Fujairah. In this role, you will ensure the safety of all guests in and around water, enforce safety regulations, and maintain a clean pool environment. Ideal candidates will hold valid certifications and have previous lifeguarding experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard Certification (Pool and/or Beach) required.
• CPR and First Aid certified (BLS preferred).
• Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.

Job Description

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe pool environment
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues
• Assist with basic pool maintenance tasks
• Interact professionally with guests and address their concerns
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills
• Educate patrons about water safety and pool rules
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a positive guest experience

Qualifications
