Al-Futtaim is hiring a Life Underwriter (Emiratization) to join Orient Insurance within the UAE. You will assess applications, evaluate risks, and make underwriting decisions to support profitability and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent English communication, and a solid foundation in business/finance or related fields. Fresh graduates with high credentials are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Emiratization with Family Book (Emirati) - Mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Insurance or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data handling.

Responsabilités

• Assess life insurance applications per underwriting guidelines.
• Review medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle information for risk.
• Make underwriting decisions within delegated authority.
• Coordinate with brokers, sales teams and providers for information.
• Ensure timely processing of new business and renewals.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation.
