PPOAR in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a library setting and will manage resources, assist staff and external customers, and support research.

You will catalog materials, maintain loan records, prepare bibliographies, organize displays, supervise volunteers, and generate usage reports. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential; ability to work independently and with attention to

Responsibilities

Managing the library and its resources, as well as providing research support to staff and external customers.
Cataloguing new books, journals, magazines and other materials.
Maintaining records of book loans.
Preparing bibliographies for staff members and customers.
Organizing book displays.
Supervising volunteers when required.
Creating reports on usage statistics.
Recommending software updates to library systems.
Helping users with library queries.
