Library Assistant - Dubai, UAE (Malayalees Preferred)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Library Assistant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to customer service. This position is ideally suited for a Malayalee with own visa, no accommodation, and no English required.

The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly learn new systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively within the library team.

The main duties of this role include assisting patrons with services including book checkouts/returns, shelving materials, helping patrons locate books or other materials in the library, providing research assistance, using computer systems to enter/retrieve data, maintaining library collections/resources, cleaning and organizing library areas, creating displays/promotional material for library events or services. The successful candidate should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent; however a college degree is preferred.
