Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive library collection that meets the needs of our diverse community.
• Organize and classify materials according to the appropriate library classification system.
• Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries.
• Develop and implement library programs for all age groups.
• Train new staff members on library procedures and policies.
• Keep accurate records of library transactions, including loans, returns, and overdue materials.
• Maintain the physical appearance of the library by shelving books, arranging displays, and performing general upkeep tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in library technology and make recommendations for implementing new systems or tools.
