Job summary

The Library in Sharjah is seeking a capable librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in library science, strong communication, and a passion for literature, research and information retrieval.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, cataloging, assisting patrons, managing interlibrary loans, and developing online databases. Foreigners are welcome to apply; salary is 1400 monthly with health insurance and transportation allowance.

Qualifications

A degree or diploma in Library Science or a related field is required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial but not necessary.
