Job summary

ConFlip in Zayed City, UAE, is seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team. The role includes organizing and maintaining the library, helping customers with queries and providing general customer service.

The position offers 900 AED per month with benefits per UAE labor law. Foreigners are welcome, and English proficiency is mandatory. Basic computer skills and a willingness to work in a team are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a librarian or in a related environment.
Excellent written and oral English communication; knowledge of another language is an advantage.
Good computer skills (MS Office) and knowledge of library systems is an advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Manage books, periodicals, AV materials, electronic resources, and other library materials.
Assist customers with borrowing books and other media from the library.
Maintain records of books borrowed and returned.
Update the library database and organize shelves regularly.
Answer customer inquiries related to library services, materials, policies, etc.
