Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Librarian in English-speaking environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of cataloging systems and online databases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage acquisition, organization, and cataloging of library materials (books, journals, digital resources).
• Develop and maintain a user-friendly system for locating library materials.
• Provide research assistance to patrons by helping them find information and resources.
• Promote library services and resources through outreach activities such as workshops and events.
• Train and supervise library staff in day-to-day operations.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in librarianship.
