Job summary

Want More is seeking a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This role oversees acquisition and maintenance of printed and digital materials and assists patrons in finding information.

The ideal candidate will be well organized, have excellent communication, and strong computer skills with experience using library software. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science is required, UAE work eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using library software programs and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a collection of library materials across formats and evaluate selections.
• Advise on placement and organization of resources and promote services through instruction.
• Stay informed on developments in librarianship and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Participate in library committee work and perform related duties as assigned.
