Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain library collections
• Perform circulation duties such as lending books and other materials
• Provide reference services to patrons
• Provide assistance in locating books and other materials
• Assist patrons in using the library’s online catalog system
• Assist patrons in using computers and other library resources
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures
• Create displays to promote new or existing materials in the collection
• Prepare booklists for staff members and patrons
• Participate in outreach activities such as book clubs or author talks.
