The Role / Responsibilities:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a junior sales role responsible for contributing to the growth of our regional sales pipeline through outbound lead generation and inbound lead follow-up activities. The role involves prospecting, nurturing, and qualifying new sales opportunities to support the overall sales organization in selling the full suite of Moody's products across all customer segments. This development role aims to position the SDR as a future sales talent within the broader Moody's APAC and ME sales organization. Our sales culture values collaboration, results, and inclusivity.

As an SDR, you will:

  1. Strategize with sales teams on key focus areas and develop plans to generate sales pipelines through SDR activities.
  2. Lead cold calling campaigns to prospect, nurture warm leads, and qualify new sales opportunities.
  3. Conduct research to identify target personas and gather relevant contact information for outreach.
  4. Execute cold outreach to target personas and nurture leads effectively.
  5. Qualify sales opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to advance deals.
  6. Follow up on leads generated by marketing and events, nurturing them into qualified sales opportunities.
  7. Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
  8. Utilize CRM software to track and measure all sales development activities.
  9. Deploy a range of tools to assist with SDR-related tasks.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development roles.
  3. A strong desire to pursue a career in sales.
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic.
  5. Excellent lead generation and sales conversation skills, including cold emailing, cold calling, prospecting, and nurturing leads.
  6. Ability to qualify opportunities and manage objections effectively.
  7. Motivated to exceed goals and achieve measurable results; role includes commissionable targets and KPIs.
  8. Attention to detail, diligence, multitasking, and prioritization skills are essential.
