Sales Manager

- Implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities.
- Manage and maintain strong, positive relations with all travel trade key accounts and business partners.
- Generate and maintain customers in the travel trade segment through various sales activities (face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment).
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of your portfolio, covering all departments and accounts, for client servicing, achieving targets, and maximum productivity.
- Quote and negotiate prices within established parameters with potential and existing clients. Prepare contracts for clients.
- Plan sales trips or attend trade shows and exhibitions under the direct approval and guidance of the DOSM, in coordination with International Sales Offices where applicable.
- Arrange site inspections of the hotel and host familiarization (FAM) trips.
- Attend major travel functions and promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to promote hotel sales (rooms, catering, facilities, and services).
- Maintain a full working knowledge of sales support tools, including sales-specific software, property PMS, and Microsoft Office suite.
Qualifications:
As our Sales Manager, you will lead the development of our sales strategy, fostering strong relationships with clients and driving business growth. Your innovative approach will help create memorable experiences and ensure flawless execution of every detail.
- Based in our Dubai office.
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's degree in any related field.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email).
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong leadership qualities.
- Previous experience in Sales, Leisure segment is essential.
