Leisure Manager, dnata Travel

Job Purpose

dnata Travel Group, representing the travel division of dnata—one of the world's largest air and travel services providers, consisting of more than 20 leading international travel brands, proudly serving a global customer base as an award-winning travel services provider.

As Leisure Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the assigned business/portfolio, including strategy formulation and implementation to meet key business objectives. You will develop the value proposition, considering stakeholder and customer segment needs.

You will continuously develop the business to achieve commercial and financial targets, ensure compliance with regulations, manage operations efficiently, and deliver customer-focused services aligned with dnata's corporate values. This is a full-time role based in our Abu Dhabi office.

In This Role, You Will

1. Establish medium to long-term plans and contingency measures to secure the business’s long-term positioning, profitability, and brand value through market evaluation.
2. Define business objectives focused on profitability, sales targets, and overall growth aligned with strategy.
3. Ensure the team is well-trained and equipped to meet objectives and KPIs, developing operational interfaces to reduce costs and promote efficiency.
4. Manage the annual budget for manpower, revenue, and expenditure, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource utilization.
5. Lead and motivate colleagues within the portfolio, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and respect within a diverse environment.
6. Guide operational and sales teams to meet revenue and profitability targets through effective practices.
7. Set and monitor performance objectives and development plans for direct reports, implementing performance management practices.
8. Coordinate pricing strategies with relevant teams, making tactical decisions to enhance market share and revenue.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, travel, tourism, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Travel/Tourism, with a minimum of 5 years in management roles.
• Strong management, leadership, and commercial acumen.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and execution.

You Will Have An Edge, If You Have

• Experience or awareness of the Middle East & India (MEI) travel/aviation markets.
• Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or start-ups.
• Arabic language proficiency.
