Job summary

A leading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Legal Specialist with a strong background in contract management, litigation, and regulatory compliance. The role involves supporting various departments and ensuring legal alignment in business operations. Ideal candidates will have a law degree and significant post-qualification experience, particularly in UAE labor and commercial law.

• Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (commercial, vendor, client, NDAs, etc.) to ensure legal and business alignment.
• Mergers & Acquisitions : Provide legal due diligence, structure deals, and manage regulatory compliance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Litigation : Manage all disputes, claims, and litigation matters. Liaise with external counsel and provide strategic guidance to minimize exposure.
• Labor & Employment Law : Ensure compliance with local labor laws. Draft employment contracts, handle internal investigations, manage disciplinary actions, and support HR on legal matters.
• Corporate Governance : Support in drafting board resolutions, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring corporate compliance.
• Regulatory & Compliance : Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure the business is always two steps ahead of legal s.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with senior management, HR, operations, and finance teams to provide practical and timely legal support.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) – Master’s or equivalent is a plus
• 5–10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a mix of law firm and in-house roles
• Strong knowledge of UAE (or relevant jurisdiction’s) labor law, commercial law, and civil / criminal procedures
• Solid exposure to M&A transactions and corporate structuring
• Proven experience in handling disputes and litigation
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred but not mandatory
