This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled paralegal or junior lawyer to join the Group Legal - Finance team. Our finance team supports Emirates and dnata with all their financing requirements. Experience in aviation finance and/or corporate finance/general banking is preferred. The successful candidate must manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. This role reports to the Assistant General Counsel (Finance).

In This Role, You Will

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, commercial counterparties, external law firms, and government entities.
• Assist the Associate General Counsel in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating LMA and aircraft financing transaction documentation.
• Prepare and maintain conditions precedent checklists and arrange execution thereof.
• Identify and clearly communicate legal and operational risks, providing practical advice to mitigate such risks.
• Assist with post-closing formalities, including internal and external communication.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Recognised paralegal qualification with current certification; or
• Qualified in a common law jurisdiction with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
• If not qualified, a paralegal holding 8+ years of experience.
• Strong academic background, excellent English language skills, and experience with project management.
