A leading group is seeking a Group Legal Manager to oversee all legal functions. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the Gulf region and be fluent in both English and Arabic. Responsibilities include providing legal advice, managing contracts, and representing the group in litigation. Qualifications

Job Brief

A leading group is seeking a Group Legal Manager to lead and oversee all legal functions across its entities and subsidiaries.

The role focuses on providing strategic legal counsel, managing contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and minimizing legal risks to support overall business operations and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on Corporate Law and Governance, International Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Real Estate Laws.

Manage all legal matters related to the Group’s joint ventures and subsidiaries.

Draft legal recommendations and support in the development of company policies and procedures.

Review business deals and advise senior management on associated legal risks and mitigation strategies.

Handle ongoing legal cases and facilitate appropriate resolutions.

Represent the group in litigation matters.

Draft, review, and negotiate corporate legal documents, including contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with regional and international laws.

Advise on legal aspects of commercial tender documents. Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years in a similar role in the Gulf region.

Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree or professional legal certifications preferred).

Legal or compliance certifications would be an advantage.

Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is a mandate

Strong analytical, drafting, communication, and negotiation skills

Business acumen with a pragmatic approach to legal solutions

Experience managing external law authorities in the region and internationally

Experience working in a corporate legal department with exposure to group-level operations

Experience dealing with external law authorities in the region and at the international level
