Are you a qualified lawyer with a passion for construction and EPC contracts? We are seeking a Legal Director to join our client’s team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and control project liabilities throughout the entire supply chain and directly supervise contract managers of the Operating Centers.

As the Legal Director, you will manage a small team of contract managers and provide legal advice, interpretation, and guidance on various matters affecting the Operating Centres, including contracts, intellectual property, corporate, ethics & compliance, and regulatory issues. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to business activities, ensuring oversight and control of liabilities on projects, and managing claims and litigations. Additionally, you will implement the Operating Model of the Legal Contracts Compliance Department and manage the legal entities within the Operating Centers.

The ideal candidate will have a law degree and approximately 7-10+ years of similar legal experience in an international environment, with relevant experience in construction or EPC contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills in English, the ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate effectively with people across various levels and responsibilities are essential.
