Job summary

Emirates Islamic is seeking a Legal Counsel to oversee the bank's dispute activities, including litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters. You will provide strategic legal advice to senior management, manage relationships with external counsel and supervise junior team members in the litigation function.

The role supports restructuring and refinancing efforts, settlement agreements and in-house training for colleagues across the bank. A strong track record in banking litigation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold LLB/LLM or Diploma in Legal Practice and be a certified Solicitor or Lawyer.
• 3–7 years in legal department management with at least 3 years in litigation.
• Experience in banking/financial services sector advised.
