Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join a prominent Family Office based in Abu Dhabi . Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide legal support across the family office’s diverse investments and business activities.

We are particularly seeking corporate commercial lawyers or counsels with substantial experience in Global Transactions to support the firm’s cross-border and multi-jurisdictional business activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide legal guidance on high-value, international, and multi-jurisdictional deals and commercial arrangements.
• Advise on the legal aspects of complex cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and international commercial agreements.
• Conduct legal research and draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transactional documents that are enforceable across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support specific business divisions, such as Aviation, Retail, Insurance, Real Estate, and Trade.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in legal, finance, and operations.
• Provide guidance on corporate structuring and transaction planning to optimize legal efficiency and minimize exposure to cross-border legal and tax risks.
• Assist the Head of Legal with legal documentation, regulatory reviews, and governance issues.

Candidate Requirements :

• 3 to 5 years of PQE in private practice or in-house gained within a reputable private practice law firm or an in-house legal team
• Demonstrated legal experience in the UAE, with a strong understanding of the local regulatory and commercial landscape.Extensive experience with corporate and commercial law, including global and cross-border transactions
• Proven ability to handle complex international legal issues
• Interest in developing a long-term legal career at a leading Emirati institution
• Preference for bilingual candidates fluent in Arabic and either French or Spanish, alongside English
