Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in UAE or strong UAE legal experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of UAE civil, commercial, and contract law.

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly qualified and proactive Legal Counsel to join ONVACA full-time in our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance across all areas of our business, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations, managing legal risk, and supporting ONVACA's growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (host agreements, vendor contracts, partnership MOUs, NDAs, etc.).
• Advise on UAE legal and regulatory compliance for platform operations, property listings, and payment structures.
• Oversee company policies to ensure data protection, consumer rights, and platform usage comply with local law.
• Handle legal aspects of real estate and short-term rental operations under Dubai tourism and DED regulations.
• Manage intellectual property protection including trademarks, brand, and content rights.
• Collaborate with external law firms when needed.
• Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory environment that affect business operations.
• Provide legal support on fundraising, investment, and corporate structuring if applicable.
• Represent the company in legal matters, disputes, and administrative proceedings.

Requirements :

• Law degree from a recognized university; licensed to practice in UAE or strong UAE legal experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar in-house or law firm role, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of UAE civil, commercial, and contract law.
• Experience in corporate law, licensing, and regulatory compliance in Dubai.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
