What will I be doing?

Your responsibilities will also include:

  2. Leading negotiation strategies, transaction management, and deal structuring.
  3. Offering legal advice and support on existing agreements, owner relations, and related matters across various functions.
  4. Supporting the resolution of contractual disputes and protecting the company's interests.
  5. Managing legal department budgets and external counsel engagement.
  6. Assisting global initiatives and implementing legal strategies for development and owner relations.
  7. Developing and delivering training and self-service programs for business partners.
  8. Contributing to the continuous improvement of Hilton Legal’s systems and procedures.
  9. Managing legal know-how and collaborating with outside counsel and internal teams.
How you will collaborate with others:

You will work closely with the EMEA Development legal team, which includes 9 lawyers and 3 paralegals, and coordinate with business partners across Hilton’s development and other functional teams.

What initiatives you will take ownership of:

You will support development projects in the GCC region, especially in KSA, providing legal support to the regional Development team.

What are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Legal professionalism and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing transactions from negotiation to closure.
  • Ability to handle demanding clients and work in a multicultural, decentralized environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and coordinate with global teams.
  • Experience working with outside counsel effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills that foster trust and influence.
  • Proven leadership in collaborative efforts across multiple teams.

Minimum qualifications include a law degree from a common law jurisdiction, significant post-qualification experience, and familiarity with commercial real estate, corporate, or related law. Experience in the hospitality sector, especially with management and franchise agreements, and regional experience in the Middle East are advantageous.
