Job summary

A leading firm in Dubai is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal review, contract advice, and conduct legal research primarily focused on business activities in the Middle East and Africa. Candidates must hold at least an LLB or JD, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a law firm. Familiarity with English law, investments, and goods trading is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a law firm as a qualified lawyer.
• Familiarity with investments and international goods trading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal review and advice on contracts.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and advice.
• Strengthen relationships with external legal experts.

• Providing legal review and advice on contracts mainly related but not limited to business development, M&A, goods trading, services, and employment
• Providing legal research, analysis and advice on business activities and related legal issues
• Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating relevant legal information / updates in the Middle East & Africa
• Strengthening relationships with external legal experts such as law firms
• Collaborating with other corporate departments to enhance the efficiency of corporate functions Relationships :
• Superiors and colleagues in Middle East and Africa

Requirement & Experience

• At least 3 years experience in a law firm as a qualified lawyer (from any jurisdiction)
