About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive corporate lawyer with 5+ years post-qualification experience to join our in-house legal team. This role is primarily focused on corporate management, restructuring, and administration across the Middle East and South Asia. The successful candidate will also support contract reviews, claims handling, and other legal tasks as part of a collaborative legal function.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary Focus – Corporate Management & Administration

  • Provide legal support for the structuring, restructuring, and administration of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advise on corporate governance, board resolutions, powers of attorney, and internal approvals.
  • Manage legal aspects of entity formation, liquidation, and ongoing compliance with local laws.
  • Liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth corporate operations.
  • Support internal reporting and documentation requirements for group-level initiatives.

Secondary Focus – Legal Support & Contract Review

  • Assist with contract reviews and negotiations, including consultancy agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
  • Provide support on claims and variations, including drafting correspondence and collating documentation.
  • Contribute to dispute avoidance strategies and assist in preparing materials for potential legal proceedings.
  • Support the legal team on ad hoc matters including regulatory compliance, ethics, and general commercial advice.
What do we need from you
  • Qualifications and Attributes
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years PQE, from reputable law firm or comparable multi-national in-house legal department.
  • Strong experience in corporate law, particularly in entity management and organisation restructuring. Need hands-on experience in solving problems and delivering outcomes.
  • Must have proven exposure undertaking contract review and claims handling is advantageous.
  • Experience working in the Middle East is essential.
  • Arabic language skills will be prioritised.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
