Job summary

Ankabut is seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice within a dynamic, technology-focused environment. This role involves advising leadership on legal matters, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Law and over 7 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in the tech sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate law, ideally in a corporate or technology sector.
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of IT and technology-related legal issues is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

Advise the CEO and senior leadership on legal matters to ensure informed decision-making and full regulatory compliance.

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Manage legal risks related to contracts, regulatory matters, and litigation.

Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business practices meet legal and ethical standards.

Develop and implement internal legal policies and compliance procedures.

Participate in negotiations, settlements, and dispute resolutions.

Support strategic initiatives with legal insights and risk assessments.

Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of IT and technology-related legal issues is a plus.
