We are seeking a Legal Support Specialist to act as support to the Legal Leader, primarily handling legal matters that impact IMEA. The role involves managing various legal responsibilities across multiple regions including GLP, KSA, NWA, and T.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the contact person for all legal matters in the day-to-day business of all business areas and functions.
  2. Draft, review, and advise on all types of contracts, defend and enforce claims, and support contract negotiations.
  3. Record and maintain shareholders and Board of Directors minutes, resolutions, and relevant documents for each entity, updating entity files accordingly.
  4. Manage operational licenses, coordinate with local PROs for renewals, and ensure compliance with government requirements.
  5. Prepare correspondence to customs and customers, such as product declarations, signage, confirmation, and NOC letters.
  6. Draft or renew documentation related to corporate housekeeping, such as board resolutions and powers of attorney, and interact with governmental authorities for registration of such documents, including IP-related POA registration.
  7. Support supplier and customer onboarding processes, including KYC reviews.
  8. Assist the after-sales department with legal matters.
  9. Support logistics-related matters in supply chain and operations, including onboarding new service providers, trade portals, and customs clearance.
  10. Assist marketing with reviewing low-value marketing and agency contracts, including print and social media.
  11. Maintain a legal research database on relevant topics and new legislation.
  12. Prepare reports for management as required.
  13. Assist in implementing and maintaining Contract Lifecycle Management systems with relevant information and documentation updates.
Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in Law or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a legal counsel.
  3. Proficiency in computer software including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign CLM, and legal databases.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  5. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
