Job Description

We are looking for a Qualified Legal Advisor/ Counsler - Contracts Specialist (Banks / Group of Companies) who has completed his Bachelor's or Master's in Law to oversee the legal aspects of our business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows legal guidelines and giving legal advice to management about all relevant issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

Shall be expert in departments as mentioned below;

• Expert in Companies (Contracts)
• Expert in Banking & Finance
• Expert in Case Drafting (English & Arabic)
• Expert in Legal Cases
• Provide legal services/advice and resolve legal matters related to the Companies / Real Estate.
• Negotiate contracts with customers and business partners on behalf of the company.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
• Review all contracts or any other documentation which the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.

Drafting Legal Documents

• Drafting and reviewing of Residential / Commercial Agreements / Contracts (building construction, sales, supply, agency, distribution, franchising, commercial lease, warehousing and logistics agreements, general terms and conditions (B2B and B2C).
• Assistance in negotiating and drafting of settlement agreements.
• Execution and termination of distribution and supply agreements.
• Review commercial contracts and international agreements received from third parties.
• Responded to general inquiries of business units with regard to the services and the arbitration/conciliation procedure.

Banking Agreements & Contracts

• Senior role which consists of advising the business on service agreements, co-investment contracts, intellectual property law, advising on legislative processes and regulatory obligations of the company.
• Managing the Intellectual Property plan of Dubai Real Estate, a structure and goals for the long term to protect the company's trademarks, licenses/copyrights.
• Attend all senior meetings & discuss the corporation's strategy.
• As a legal advisor, you will be responsible for handling a company’s legal responsibilities. Duties may include preparing contracts and documentation and providing various legal support. The role of a legal advisor in the construction industry involves the following duties:
• Overseeing client and vendor contracts
• Providing commercially sensible and cost-effective legal advice for construction contracts management
• Conducting legal research
• Drafting basic legal documents for construction projects
• Ensuring compliance with construction laws and regulations
• Resolving buy-sell disputes and property infringements
• Providing arbitration, litigation and mediation support
• Advising on the latest building standards
• Explaining building standards to stakeholders
• Overseeing health and safety and injury claims and offering advice on court cases
• Meeting and interviewing clients
• Drafting documents, letters and contracts
• Acting on behalf of clients in disputes, if necessary.
