You will collaborate with teachers to tailor lesson plans, prepare materials, monitor progress, implement visual aids, and foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment that adapts to each student’s needs, while reporting concerns as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education preferred.
• Certification in teaching assistance is desirable.
• Experience in an educational setting with diverse learners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic assistance to students adapting support strategies to their unique learning styles and needs ensuring comprehension and progress
• Collaborate with teachers to implement and modify lesson plans offering insights and feedback to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources including creating visual aids and organizing learning environments for optimal learning
• Monitor student progress and behavior documenting observations and reporting concerns to the teacher and relevant stakeholders
