Responsibilities

• Work with groups and individuals to support learning under teacher direction.
• Encourage independence by asking questions, modelling and guiding rather than doing the work.
• Support day-to-day school operations such as preparing resources and overseeing specific areas.
• Engage pupils in meaningful talk to develop language and build relationships.
• Supervise children on trips, break times, and activities including swimming and PE lessons.
• Model positive behavior and uphold school policies and safeguarding expectations.
• Meet weekly with teaching staff to align on pupil progress and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective oral and written communication about pupil progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development as required.
