Job description

Reporting to the Regional Learning Delivery Manager, the Learning Senior Instructor utilizes their knowledge of NCR Atleos business and products and their expertise in adult education techniques to implement and deliver learning curriculum for their prescribed audience. He/She works closely with the Learning Delivery Manager, Learning Senior Specialist, and the Learning Business Partner to understand the business requirements and the skill sets requiring enhancement. The Learning Senior Instructor facilitates and delivers a comprehensive learning program or event that enhances an associate's knowledge/skill and improves the overall effectiveness of the business unit/organization. Although important, the design and development are secondary in this role to the delivery and instruction.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Convey knowledge and skills using classroom, lab, virtual instructor-led, and online methods of instruction.
  2. Maintain classroom facilities and equipment and ensure learning materials necessary for the class are available.
  3. Use existing knowledge combined with analytical skills to update and maintain course content.
  4. Use a variety of delivery techniques, leveraging formal and informal delivery tools such as virtual classrooms, web conferencing, discussion forums, blogs, and wikis.
  5. Execute classroom delivery according to the published training schedule.
  6. Work with the Learning Senior Specialist & Learning Business Partner to measure learning program effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
  7. Understand the competitive marketplace and stay current with the benchmarks/best practices that exist within the Learning community.
  8. Use continuous improvement processes and tools to improve Services Learning processes to increase the value-add provided to our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM)

  1. Associates Degree in Education or a related technical discipline OR 3-5 years of experience working in Learning or Education-related discipline or field experience as an ATM technician.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic. Any additional languages will be an added advantage.
  3. Strong (demonstrated) public speaking or presentation skills.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office products.
  5. Experienced with working in a matrix-managed organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in education or a related technical discipline OR 5-7 years of experience working in Learning or Education-related discipline or field experience as an ATM technician.
  2. Proven ability to work within a team environment, juggle multiple projects, and adapt to frequent change.
  3. Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
  4. Training or practical experience in academic tests and measurements.
  5. Ability to visualize and verbalize technical concepts in understandable terms and be instructionally savvy to create and deliver clear and effective instructional content.
  6. Proven ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  7. Experience with ATMs (i.e. NCR, Diebold, Wincor).
  8. Experience with networking products (i.e. Cisco routers/switches).
