Job description

A Learning & Development Manager will act as a change catalyst for cultural and organizational transformation by developing functional excellence among Team Members, with a strong focus on luxury service deliver.

What will I be doing?

As a Learning & Development Manager, you serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives through Hilton’s comprehensive training framework to uphold and elevate luxury guest experiences. Specifically, a Learning & Development Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support departments in developing cutting-edge functional excellence and leadership capabilities, in alignment with luxury hospitality standards
  • Act as a change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation of the Hotel
  • Provide key input of Training aspects for all activities and plans of the Hotel that reflect the brand’s luxury identity and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
  • Induct, coach, and mentor new Team Members to instill a deep understanding of the brand’s values, service expectations, and luxury guest engagement
  • Facilitate orientation programs, continuous learning sessions, and compliance training that reflects a luxury service approach.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to assess service delivery and provide targeted coaching based on luxury and Forbes service standard.
  • Monitor and conduct regular learning and development reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and upskilling.
  • Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the hotel
  • Collaborate with regional L&D teams and Hilton University platforms to leverage corporate learning resources.
  • Maintain precise training records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits, including those related to Forbes standards
  • Champion the hotel’s service culture, embedding luxury and Forbes service standards into all learning interventions that elevate team performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor the hotel’s readiness for Forbes audits and develop action plans to address service gaps and elevate standards accordingly.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required
  • Strong background in luxury hospitality with proven experience in facilitating training programs aligned with Forbes Travel Guide service standards
  • Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique
  • Strong understanding of luxury service delivery frameworks, including Forbes Travel Guide standards, and experience in integrating these into training programs
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences at all levels
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to coach, motivate, and inspire others
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
  • Positive, professional attitude and excellent personal presentation that reflects luxury brand standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to assess training needs, analyze gaps, and measure training effectiveness
  • Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional presentation and strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods
