A Learning & Development Leadership Intern is part of the Human Resources Department, supporting Learning & Development through various projects and tasks.

What will I be doing

During the internship, the Learning & Development Leadership Intern will be exposed to the following:

  • Maintaining employee training records and learning history
  • Updating and maintaining the employee training matrix, ensuring e-learning and classroom trainings are logged and completed within designated timeframes
  • Scheduling and coordinating training sessions, including creating training calendars
  • Developing and communicating training brochures and flyers to notify team members of upcoming classes, tracking employee sign-ups, and preparing materials including certificates of completion
  • Inputting and tracking data related to Hilton quality measurement programs, including guest comment cards and standards of product and performance, into computerized tracking systems
  • Attending and contributing to various learning & development programs
  • Preparing and distributing reports on training results, and maintaining inventory of all training supplies, stationery, and office equipment
