Job Overview

Learning Assistant

Kings’ School Al Barsha is seeking a highly motivated Learning Assistant to join our celebrated school from August 2025.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, setting high expectations for pupils within a bespoke classroom. They will produce a language rich and exciting environment for pupils to make progress with a high focus on communication and interaction skills, social skills and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

Key Requirements and Attributes:

• Holds a minimum high school qualification
• British Primary School trained Teaching Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must have experience of working in EYFS and/or Primary
• Ability to support the delivery of an adapted curriculum to meet the needs of the children
• Ability to deliver creative learning activities
• Ability to support creative learning environments
• Ability to support the implementation of Education Plans
• A clear personal philosophy of education
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to understand and interpret the root causes of a range of challenging behaviors and to support the implementation of effective behavior management strategies
• An excellent understanding of how to teach the acquisition of early phonics and mathematical skills
• Must be sponsored by family/spouse or hold a golden visa for the position**
