About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to design, implement, and manage training programs that elevate employee performance and drive organisational success. With at least 8 years of hands-on experience, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator with a strong ability to translate business goals into impactful learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning Strategy & Design
  • Develop and execute comprehensive L&D strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps and recommend targeted training interventions.
  • Design engaging learning experiences using blended methods: in-person workshops, e-learning, coaching, job aids, and webinars.
  • Program Delivery & Facilitation
  • Deliver high-impact training sessions across all organizational levels, including leadership development, onboarding, compliance, and technical upskilling.
  • Partner with department heads to tailor programs specific to team goals and development plans.
  • Track, analyse, and report on participation, completion rates, and learning effectiveness.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor program outcomes using data and feedback to measure ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Adapt training methods and content to emerging trends, learner preferences, and digital innovations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with HR, managers, and senior leaders to embed a culture of continuous learning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for leadership and career development paths across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Management, with proven ability to design and implement end-to-end L&D programs.
  • Hands-on experience with training delivery, LMS administration, instructional design, and facilitation.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and present insights to influence L&D and talent strategy.
  • Certifications such as CPLP, SHRM-SCP, or relevant instructional design credentials are a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a fast-paced, multicultural, or matrixed organisation.
  • Proficiency in e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva, etc.).
  • Familiarity with behavioral assessments, 360-degree feedback, or competency frameworks.
