Job summary

ADNOC Drilling seeks a Wireline Field Engineer to perform open hole and cased hole wireline services across UAE rigs, onshore and offshore. You will ensure safe, high-quality delivery of logs while mentoring junior staff and maintaining operational excellence.

Role requires strong English, planning and field troubleshooting skills, and hands-on use of Baker Hughes equipment (ECLIPS, Warrior, Cerberus). ADNOC Drilling promotes safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in oilfield wireline operations with Baker Hughes technology.
Strong understanding of planning, execution and troubleshooting at wellsite.
Proficient in interpreting logs and communicating recommendations to clients.
Knowledge of HS&E requirements including risk assessment and explosives handling.

Responsibilities

Execute wireline services across assigned rigs and fields for ADNOC Drilling.
Lead wellsite operations as crew lead engineer and ensure procedure compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and operators in wireline service delivery.
Plan, pre-job and post-job reporting, and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with clients and rig crews to align with drilling schedules.
Advise clients, perform log quality control, and support decisions at the wellsite.
Demonstrate hands-on use of Baker Hughes equipment and tools.
Adhere to HSE and regulatory protocols, including handling of hazardous materials.
