Job summary

Flip Retail in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Field Engineer to execute secure and efficient analysis procedures at the well site, focusing on cased-hole logging and related services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical) or Geoscience and a minimum of 2 years’ oil sector experience as a Wireline Logging Designer. A light-vehicle driving certificate and readiness to travel/relocate are preferred, along with offshore/onshore medical tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an identified institute, preferably in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) or Geoscience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the oil sector as a Wireline Logging Designer is preferred.
• Ideally holding a driving certificate (light vehicle).
• Pass offshore/onshore medical tests.
• Desire and ability to travel/relocate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute safe well site operations, including pre-job preparation, execution, data shipment and equipment maintenance with supporting documents.
• Monitor field procedures to ensure safety and equipment integrity.
• Prepare accurate daily reports and logs for printing or seamless transfer.
• Operate, document and transfer logging equipment in memory or live mode.
• Perform basic quality control on logged data and ensure timely reporting.
