Job summary

F. Gheewala Human Resource Consultants is seeking a senior Welding Engineer for Oil & Gas EPC/Construction projects. The candidate will lead welding engineering activities, ensure quality compliance, and coordinate with clients, QA/QC teams and management.

The role requires a Master’s in Welding (with Mechanical/Metallurgical background), a Bachelor’s in Engineering, IWE/CWE certification, and at least 12 years of experience; ADNOC approval is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering, with a Master's in Welding.
• IWE, CWE, or equivalent welding certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 12 years of welding engineering experience in Oil & Gas EPC/Construction/Manufacturing.
• ADNOC approval is preferred.
• Prepare and maintain Weld Maps, Weld Registers, pWPS, WPS, PQRs, Welder Qualification Registers, and Welder ID Cards/Certificates in accordance with project and client requirements.
• Monitor shop and site welding activities, welding repair percentage, consumable inspection, storage, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct welder qualification tests, provide technical training and toolbox sessions for welding personnel, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform welding inspections and quality control activities.
• Coordinate with clients, laboratories, QA/QC teams, and project management by attending technical meetings, resolving welding-related issues, and providing manufacturing and project support.

Responsibilities
