Job summary

Anotech Energy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Telecommunications and Cybersecurity Engineer to lead engineering activities for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and international standards. You will review designs, coordinate with EPC contractors, and ensure secure, reliable telecoms and cyber systems throughout the project lifecycle, from procurement to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of overall engineering experience, including at least 8 years in the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications and/or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong PMC experience in oil and gas projects, preferably involving major capital projects.
• Saudi Aramco project exposure highly preferred.
• Experience with PMC, PMT, Owner's team, or client-side organization is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review telecommunications and cybersecurity engineering deliverables for oil and gas projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, project specifications, and applicable international standards.
• Review designs and specifications for communication networks, fiber optics, radio systems, CCTV, access control, and industrial cybersecurity systems.
• Coordinate with the Client, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into engineering design and project implementation.
• Monitor technical quality and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover.
