Job summary

Anotech Energy seeks a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to drive electrical activities for major Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East, ensuring compliance with project specs, standards, and international codes. This PMC-focused role requires coordination with the Client, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements: B.E. in Electrical Engineering; 12+ years total, 8+ in Oil & Gas, 5+ in a lead electrical role; strong PMC experience; Saudi Aramco standards knowledge;

Qualifications

• Strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects (EPC/PMC).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities from FEED through commissioning.
• Review and approve EPC contractor electrical deliverables and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes.
• Act as PMC focal point, coordinating with Client, EPCs, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor performance, progress, and quality of electrical deliverables and schedules.
• Provide guidance on power distribution and electrical equipment issues.
• Participate in design reviews and technical bid evaluations.
• Oversee activities from procurement through handover.

Job description

To lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for major Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and applicable international codes. The role requires strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities from FEED through detailed engineering, ensuring compliance with project requirements and Client standards.
• Review, verify, and approve EPC contractor electrical engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards.
• Act as the PMC electrical engineering focal point, coordinating with the Client, EPC contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance, engineering progress, deliverable quality, and schedule compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve electrical engineering issues related to power distribution, electrical equipment, and associated systems.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and technical bid evaluations, ensuring alignment with Client requirements.
• Oversee electrical engineering activities during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of overall engineering experience, including at least 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 5 years in a relevant electrical engineering role.
• Strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects in a Lead Electrical Engineer position.
• Proven experience in major EPC/PMC projects covering FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Saudi Aramco project experience is highly preferred, with good knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and specifications.
• Middle East project experience is preferred.
