The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive strategic investments, identify market opportunities, and guide policy-aligned initiatives that leverage conventional oil sector expertise in a low-carbon future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse global market trends, policies, and regulatory developments in the sustainable fuels space

• Identify and assess business opportunities across feedstocks, production technologies, and end-use markets

• Contribute to the development of a forward-looking investment portfolio in clean fuel technologies

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align technical initiatives with strategic goals

• Support evaluation of pathways such as HEFA, co-processing, and power-to-liquid manufacturing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally including time spent with an operator

• Strong background in sustainable fuels, business development, and market analysis

• Familiarity with technologies such as HVO diesel, renewable diesel, e-fuels, and SAF

• Proven ability to engage stakeholders across technical and commercial functions
