Job summary:

To manage supplier performance excellence. Establish performance parameters, conduct regular performance reviews, and collaborating with suppliers on improvement plans, the Lead ensures that suppliers meet the organization's expectations and contribute to its success.

General Responsibilities:

  • Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems
  • Follow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.
  • Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
  • Reporting
  • Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.
  • Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
  • Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and implementation of KPIs to assess supplier performance regularly, focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
  • Establish and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure KPIs are measurable, relevant, and achievable to effectively assess supplier performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs regularly, utilizing data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of supplier performance against agreed standards.
  • Conduct critical performance review meetings with suppliers, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions or improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement improvement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing supplier performance.
  • Lead the preparation and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting supplier performance trends and areas needing attention.
  • Ensure a comprehensive documentation of performance assessments, improvement initiatives, and outcomes.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to suppliers on performance issues and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate performance expectations clearly and ensure mutual understanding.
