Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead building structures projects within a global consultancy. You will combine managerial leadership with technical delivery to meet quality, budget and schedule targets.

You will design and supervise designs using Etabs, Safe, Staad and BIM tools, while mentoring engineers and coordinating across international teams on complex built-environment schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' Degree in Civil or Structural engineering and professional registration.
• Experience in international design consultancy and UAE codes.
• Experience leading building structures projects with increasing responsibility.
• Proficiency in analytical/design software and BIM workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple teams across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings and risk assessments for schemes.
• Provide project management and team leadership for structural design.
• Lead structural analysis and design work.
• Inspect on-site works and ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure all design work follows quality procedures, budgets, and schedules.
• Present technical aspects to stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of current codes and industry practices.
