Job summary

Mc Dermott is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer for a full-time role in Dubai, UAE. This senior position within the Oil and Energy industry requires expertise in structural engineering design and project execution, particularly in FEED and EPC projects. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and at least 15 years of experience in complex industrial and offshore projects, along with strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas projects with major EPC contractors or consultants.
• Strong expertise in structural engineering design, FEED, and EPC project execution.
• Deep knowledge of structural systems including steel, concrete, geotechnical, blast, fatigue, seismic, and hydrodynamic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed structural engineering analyses and design.
• Lead medium to large engineering teams and manage discipline scope.
• Prepare and review detailed design calculations and engineering reports.
