Lead Static Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Static Engineer with at least 18 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas processing and NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) projects and have demonstrated leadership in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) role. The Lead Static Engineer will oversee static equipment design, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and structural components, ensuring the successful delivery of gas processing and NGL projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction in the design and engineering of static equipment for gas processing and NGL projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Oversee the development and review of static engineering designs, calculations, and drawings for major projects.
• Act as the primary technical advisor to project managers, clients, and other engineering teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies in an office environment.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize project delivery and meet client expectations.
• Ensure that static equipment selection and design meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Support the procurement process by reviewing technical bids, vendor selection, and equipment specifications.
• Monitor project progress from an engineering perspective and provide solutions to resolve any technical challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  
  

• Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on gas processing and NGL projects.
• Demonstrated experience in a PMC role, managing static engineering activities for large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering design codes and standards for static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.).
• Excellent technical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an office-based environment, coordinating with teams and managing multiple projects.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (master's degree preferred).
