Job summary

FinTop Consulting in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Lead SRE / Technology Operations (DevSecOps) to own production infrastructure, reliability, security operations and controls. This hands-on leadership role works with senior tech leadership and external partners.

You will manage AWS/cloud infra, Kubernetes in production, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, IAM/PAM controls, CI/CD pipelines and incident response. Strong fintech/regulatory experience and excellent English are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience in SRE/DevSecOps and infrastructure engineering.
• 2+ years in fintech, banking, brokerage, payments, or regulated environment.
• Strong production-level AWS or equivalent cloud experience.
• Strong Terraform, Ansible or IaC experience.
• Experience with IAM/PAM and access reviews.
• Strong incident management, RCA and disaster recovery experience.
• Experience with audits/regulatory controls (ISO 27001/SOC 2) is desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English for auditors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure, monitoring and access control.
• Manage AWS/cloud infrastructure, networking, segmentation and capacity planning.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes environments in production.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Design and maintain IAM/PAM controls and access reviews.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and approvals.
• Establish monitoring and observability across metrics, logs and traces.
• Lead incident response, RCA and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, escalation processes and on-call procedures.
• Own backup/restore and disaster recovery testing.
• Define and validate RTO/RPO and conduct failover testing.
• Coordinate security operations with external CISO/SOC partners.
• Manage vulnerability remediation and security findings.
• Maintain secrets, certificates and hardening standards.
• Support audits and regulatory evidence.
• Oversee vendor performance, SLAs and incident reporting.

Lead SRE / Technology Operations (DevSecOps)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available with a regulated digital-assets and financial technology platform entering an important launch phase.

As Lead SRE / Technology Operations (DevSecOps), you will have direct ownership of production infrastructure, reliability, security operations and technology controls. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will work closely with senior technology leadership, security partners and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure, monitoring and access control.
• Manage AWS/cloud infrastructure, networking, segmentation and capacity planning.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes environments in production.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Design and maintain IAM/PAM controls, least‑privilege access and periodic access reviews.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and approval controls.
• Establish monitoring and observability across metrics, logs and traces.
• Lead incident response, triage, restoration, RCA and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, escalation processes and on‑call procedures.
• Own backup/restore processes and disaster recovery testing.
• Define and validate RTO/RPO requirements and conduct failover testing.
• Coordinate security operations with external CISO/SOC partners.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, penetration testing and security findings.
• Maintain secrets, certificates and infrastructure hardening standards.
• Support technology controls, audit requirements and regulatory evidence.
• Oversee vendor performance, access rights, SLAs and material incident reporting.

Digital Assets / Crypto Exposure

• Experience in digital assets is highly desirable, particularly exposure to:
• Wallet and custody infrastructure
• Hot, warm and cold wallet environments
• Fireblocks, BitGo or similar custody platforms
• Key management and signer access
• Withdrawal approval and multi‑signature controls
• Blockchain nodes or RPC infrastructure
• Deposit and withdrawal pipelines
• KYT and blockchain analytics tools
• Crypto experience is a strong advantage but is not mandatory. Strong SRE/DevSecOps professionals from regulated fintech, banking, brokerage or payments environments will also be considered.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform or infrastructure engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, payments, exchanges or another regulated/audited environment.
• Strong production‑level AWS or equivalent cloud experience.
• Strong Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC experience.
• Experience with IAM/PAM, privileged access and access reviews.
• Strong incident management, RCA, disaster recovery and business continuity experience.
• Experience working with security teams, SOCs, CISOs or managed security providers.
• Exposure to vulnerability management and penetration testing.
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory controls or frameworks such as ISO 27001/SOC 2 is highly desirable.
• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate with auditors and technical stakeholders.
