Job summary

Signature Network in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Senior Road Safety Engineer to conduct RSA across all stages of road projects and lead crash investigations. The role requires experience with RSAs, data analysis, and reporting, with a focus on improving safety for vulnerable road users.

The position is full-time and based in Abu Dhabi, offering a medical insurance package (single) and a negotiable relocation package, with opportunities to contribute to sustainability

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in road safety focusing on Road Safety Audits (RSA).
• Preferably approved RSA Team Member with ITC.
• Recognized road safety training/certification.
• Experience for all stages of RSAs and different schemes.
• Experience in Crash Site Investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Road Safety Audits (all stages) for all types of roads/junctions/underpasses/tunnels/bridges following standard Guidelines/Processes from concept design stage to detailed design stage and thereafter.
• Conduct crash site investigations, identifying issues, and recommendations
• Conduct crash data collection and analysis
• Participate in client and contractor/other meetings.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and calculations sheets
• Offer insights and recommendations based on a deep analysis of traffic/safety patterns, high-risk locations, and the effectiveness of targeted interventions
• Provide insights and recommendations based on the latest developments and best practices in road safety
• Evaluate the safety of vulnerable road users and propose comprehensive recommendations to enhance their protection on the road
• Any other relevant tasks/activities/responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
