Job summary

Talentspoc in the UAE is seeking a qualified Reconstructive Surgery Specialist to join our medical team.

You will evaluate complex soft-tissue defects, plan and perform advanced procedures such as skin grafts and flap reconstructions, provide pre-operative counselling and post-operative care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

A valid UAE DHA license and postgraduate qualification in Plastic or Reconstructive Surgery are required.

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS or equivalent with recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic or Reconstructive Surgery.
• Valid UAE DHA or equivalent medical license.
• Proven experience in reconstructive surgery with demonstrated clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized reconstructive surgery plans.
• Perform skin grafting and local and free flap reconstruction.
• Manage post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and minimize complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including plastic surgeons, oncologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Provide pre-operative counseling to patients regarding surgical options, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in continuous professional development.
